China leads water treatment chemicals

According to the latest research report of the Friedonia Group, the demand for global water treatment chemicals and equipment will grow rapidly at an average annual rate of 5.7% by 2013. The growth rate in most regions is much higher than the growth rate of local GDP. By 2013, the global water treatment chemicals and equipment market share will reach 59 billion US dollars.

Sustained industrial expansion and increased awareness of safe water supply assurance, China's water treatment chemicals and equipment market will grow at an average annual rate of 12.7% by 2013 and reach US$5.4 billion by 2013.
