Uses and synthesis methods of Tolyltriazole

Tolyltriazole is mainly used in metal rust inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor, widely used in anti-rust oil (grease) products, mostly used in copper and copper alloy vapor phase corrosion inhibitor, lubricating oil additives, circulating water treatment agent, automotive antifreeze. In addition, it can also be used with a variety of scale inhibitors, bactericides and algicides, especially for closed circulating cooling water system corrosion inhibition effect is very good.
The synthesis method of Tolyltriazole is mainly from 3, 4-diamino-toluene, which is synthesized by medium pressure, acidified, dehydrated and distilled. The specific steps include placing 3, 4-diaminotoluene in pure water in the reactor to be heated and dissolved, adding sodium nitrite for reaction, dropping sulfuric acid after cooling, resulting in a large number of crystals, and finally making 5-methylbenzotriazole after deliquid treatment, heating dehydration, distillation treatment. This method has the advantages of simple preparation technology, easy control of preparation process, high yield, high purity, low production cost and easy organization of industrial production .
